Service Requests

Irish Setters, Inc. is committed to providing a timely response to all customer service requests. In order for us to properly document and expedite the requests for service, all items must be submitted in writing, via fax or mail, on a "Warranty Service Request" form. A Warranty Representative will contact you within five working days upon receipt of your request for service. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated and will help the Warranty Service Department in scheduling your repairs as quickly as possible. Please submit the following information with each request:

• Project Name
• Phase and lot number
• Homeowners first and last name
• Address
• Telephone numbers for home/work/cell
• Repair Location (Master Bath, Bath 2, Bath3, Kitchen, etc...) Please be specific
• Description of repair (How many tiles, location in area, counters, accent liners, back splash, shower floor etc...) Please be specific

Warranty

Please read the maintenance and service information carefully as some areas can affect your warranty.

The warranty covers any installation and/or workmanship errors. Also covered are materials that do not meet industry standards. The Irish Setters, Inc. is not responsible for color variance in ceramic tiles. We install the materials as sent from the manufacture. If you have a problem area, we can assist you in getting a Manufacturer's Representative to view your installation.

Sealing your grout and tile will result in limiting your warranty to installation and/or workmanship errors only. Sealed products can change material color and we may no longer be able to match the color of your installation.

Cracks in grout and caulk at joints are normal due to shrinkage. The Irish Setters, Inc., or developer, will provide caulking maintenance one time within the first year after close of escrow, if needed. After this one time, it becomes homeowner/buyer maintenance. Colored grout and caulks can vary in repaired areas from original installation and are not covered under this warranty.

The warranty is based on SB800 implementation guidelines and close of escrow.

Exclusions

Not withstanding other provisions of this warranty, certain defects or damages are explicitly excluded from the coverage of the warranty.

Buyer recognizes that this warranty does not cover the following

• Damage to the home caused by casualties normally covered by standard home owners insurance or damage resulting from natural catastrophes, i.e., fire, smoke, explosion, water escape, flood, wind, hail, lighting, earthquake, insects or falling trees.
• Damage resulting from or made worse by the buyers failure to take appropriate action to prevent further damage, including notifying builder of any defect within a reasonable time.
• Damage to the home caused by the buyer, or any agent of buyer (including accidental damage and damage during move-in) or damage by animals or pets or by any invitee, lessee, tenant or renter of the home.
• Damage resulting from any changes, after the close of escrow, to the grading or drainage of the property on which the home is located.
• Defects in or defects caused by materials furnished or work done at request of buyer by anyone other than seller or its employees, agents or subcontractors expressly selected by seller.
